NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM OF KOREA

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

The Children’s Museum is where children can learn and experience
the maritime history and culture through interactive activities.
This museum is suited to children and they can easily connect and understand
maritime life and feel familiar with it by seeing, hearing and touching.

With the theme “Journey to the Ocean on a Time Machine Ship!” children will become
maritime explorers as they travel through the past, present, and future of the sea.
As well, they’ll learn about the marine environment that coexists with us
and develop a sense of responsibility and care for the ocean.

The "Seommaeul Playground (Island Village Playground)", established along
with the Children’s Museum, is designed for toddlers under the age of 5,
which focuses on active play. It helps toddlers enhance their cognitive abilities
and their imagination through various physical activities.
